Guayamum is a documentary about the impacts of global tourism and neo-colonialism on the island of Boipeba, a paradisiacal sanctuary in Bahia, Brazil. Through the stories of local protagonists we witness how waste pollution and the ever increasing acquisition of properties by foreigners continue to threat the livelihoods of the Island community.

WEAVING IN explores the multifaceted relationship between humans and the environment. It opens up a dialogue space to contemplate our position in the ecosystem, to raise awareness for a mindful interaction with the non-human nature surrounding us.

I Have more than 12 years of experience as a Director, director of photography, cameraman, and editor.

My journey as a photographer began at the tender age of 10, where I swiftly assumed the role of photographer and videographer for my scout group, armed with nothing but an old Russian camera. Despite temporarily setting aside my passion when I pursued studies in music composition at university, fate intervened in 2011 when I relocated to New York. Assisting a filmmaker there reignited my love for photography, and from that moment on, I never looked back."
